Since its enactment, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has helped millions of Americans gain comprehensive health coverage to protect themselves from life’s many unexpected events. In fact, the uninsured rate in California has fallen by 54 percent since the ACA was enacted in 2010, translating into 3,826,000 Californians gaining coverage. Despite that, the Republican-controlled Congress has moved forward on a plan to repeal the ACA without providing a viable replacement. If they are successful, more than 30 million Americans could lose their health coverage. There is a better way to do this, and I need your help to fight back.
