Sherman Meets with BJP President Rajnath Singh
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Brad Sherman (D – CA), a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, met with the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rajnath Singh. Sherman is an active member of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian-Americans.
Over the years, Congressman Sherman has met with a wide range of Indian leaders from many organizations, including the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Congressman Sherman and BJP President Singh discussed enhancing economic, security, and cultural ties between India and the U.S.
“I am pleased to continue to work with Indian leaders and the Indian American community to strengthen ties between the world’s largest democracies, India and the United States,” said Sherman. “India is a strategic ally of the United States.”
