Sherman Statement on the Mass Shooting at Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia

Chesapeake, Virginia -- Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA) issued the following statement on Wednesday in the wake of a mass shooting at a Walmart store in Chesapeake that killed six people.

"My heart goes out to the victims and the Chesapeake community who are forced to deal with such tragedy as families and loved ones prepare to gather ahead of Thanksgiving," said Congressman Sherman.

Sherman continued: "A stark reminder of the constant threat gun violence poses - and of how our efforts to End Gun Violence must be as persistent."
