Tours and Tickets

All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

The United States Capitol

If you are interested in requesting a tour of the Capitol through my office, please begin by filling out the Tour Request Form below.

General admission tickets for the United States Capitol are available Monday through Saturday on a first come first serve basis. Tickets are distributed beginning at 8:00 am, and tours are conducted from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The White House

The White House decides who receives tours and staff at the White house lead the tours. Our office places requests on behalf of constituents. Obtaining a White House tour can be very difficult. It is very important to follow the below guidelines for your application to be considered.

If you are interested in requesting a tour of the Capitol through our office, please begin by filling out the Tour Request Form below.

The following are policies determined by the White House for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:

Tours are only available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Requests must be submitted at least one month in advance and no more than 3 months in advance: You are encouraged to send your requests in as early as possible since a limited number of tours are available.
Requests are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the White House does not inform Congressional offices about the status of tour requests until two weeks before the requested tour date.
Please note, all tours are subject to cancellation due to occasional security shutdowns.

Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The tours are self-guided.

White House tours may be submitted up to 6 months in advance, but no later than 3 weeks before the requested tour date.

Each person in your tour party must submit security information to the White House via a link they provide.

What are these options?

Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option 'Voice' is a standard audible telephone.
