Shooting in Kansas City Super Bowl Parade | Sherman Statement

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- On February 14th, one person was killed, and at least 20 injured, in a shooting following a post-Super Bowl rally in Kansas City meant to celebrate the city's Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs. Eleven children were being treated for injuries at a children's hospital, including nine with gunshot wounds.

"Horrifying news. My heart goes out to all the victims and the people of Kansas City," said Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32). "First days of school, church gatherings, festivals and now a Super Bowl parade - how many more joyous events have to turn into sudden tragedies before we finally act to End Gun Violence?"
