Beverly Crest Shooting - Sherman Statement

BEVERLY CREST, LOS ANGELES -- At least three people were killed and four others were wounded in a shooting in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles.

"Another mass shooting, this time in the Beverly Crest neighborhood in my district. I'm closely monitoring," said Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA 32) shortly after the news of the shooting. "I met with the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council leaders last week, now we grieve together along with the families of the victims and the whole community."

Sherman concluded: "I am resolved to pass further gun control measures to address this slaughter."
