PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Today, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) issued the following statement applauding President Biden's Major Disaster Declaration for Los Angeles County Fires:

"Grateful to President Biden for the issuance of a Major Disaster Declaration for the California Fires. This will open up FEMA and SBA assistance to individuals impacted by the fires including critical needs for immediate displacement, displacement assistance, direct grants for damage to homes and medical costs, Business Physical Disaster Loans, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and Home Disaster Loans."
