Congressman Sherman & Colleagues Mark Grim Milestone for Gaza Hostages

Washington, D.C. -- On Wednesday, January 17th Senate and House leaders hosted family members of the hostages for a press conference and candlelight vigil following their 100th day in Hamas captivity.
"My colleagues and I mourn 103 days since Hamas' October 7th massacre," said Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) after the conclusion of the vigil. "Over 1,200 innocent Israelis were killed that day, more Jewish deaths than any day since the Holocaust. Since then, too many innocent Israelis and Gazans have been killed due to Hamas' criminal tactics."
Sherman concluded: "We demand the release of the over 100 hostages held by Hamas. God Bless America for standing with Israel."
