Congressman Sherman Helps Mark Inaugural “House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group”

WASHINGTON, D.C. - On February 7th, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined the Speaker of the Israeli Knesset Amir Ohana in the U.S. Capitol to help mark the inaugural House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group and reinforce the special alliance between the United States and Israel.

"Honored to help kick off the U.S.-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Group with Speaker Ohana and my Congressional colleagues," said Congressman Sherman. "As Israel is forced to - yet again - defend itself against those who seek its destruction, the U.S. remains clear that our support for Israel is unwavering."

Congressman Sherman currently stands as the most senior Democrat serving on the House-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Group and is a Co-Chair of the House Israel Allies Caucus on Capitol Hill. Congressman Sherman is also a senior Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee for over 27 years.
