Congressman Sherman Reacts to Rep. Barney Frank Retiring

Washington DC – Following news that Congressman Barney Frank will not seek reelection, Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA), a senior member of the Financial Services Committee released the following statement:

“I didn’t always agree with him, but he was an outstanding leader for Democrats on the Financial Services Committee. He has often been acknowledged as the smartest member in the House, and he will be missed.

“I hope very much that he can continue to use his considerable skills to serve the American people, perhaps in the executive branch.”
