Congressman Sherman Statement on Release of Remaining Israeli Hostages

WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32), senior Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Co-Chair of the House Israel Allied Caucus, released the following statement on the release of the remaining twenty hostages held captive since Hamas’s horrific terrorist attack on October 7th, 2023:

"After over two years, I am overjoyed to see hostages brutally held in Hamas captivity finally reunite with their families. But I also mourn and remember those who were killed by Hamas in captivity and are coming home in caskets, whose families were robbed of this reunion. 28 lives needlessly cut short by Hamas’s brutality."
