WASHINGTON, D.C. -- August 15th marks the day India celebrates its independence from British colonial rule.
"As Co-Chair of the House India Caucus, I join those commemorating India Independence Day," said Congressman Brad Sherman. "We celebrate India's democratic journey, recognize their contributions to the global community and reaffirm our commitment towards further strengthening the U.S.-India relationship."
