Sherman Commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day

SHERMAN OAKS, CALIFORNIA -- On January 27th, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) issued the following statement in honor of "International Holocaust Remembrance Day" that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, which resulted in the genocide of one third of the Jewish people, along with countless members of other minorities by Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945.
"On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we pause to remember and honor the memory of the six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust," said Congressman Sherman. "As we reflect upon this dark moment of history, we must reaffirm our resolve to stand firmly against antisemitism, bigotry and hatred in all its forms."
