Sherman, Friedman & Chu Lead Push for ICE Reform & Noem Impeachment

LOS ANGELES, CA — On January 28th, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined Representatives Laura Friedman (CA-30) and Judy Chu (CA-28) to demand accountability and major reform of ICE and DHS after two Americans were killed during federal immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis.

"ICE is killing innocent Americans and Kristi Noem and the Trump administration are lying about it. Today I joined to demand justice for victims and their families," said Congressman Sherman. "These masked murderers and those directing terror in our communities must be held accountable."

On January 14th, Congressman Brad Sherman joined Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL-02) to formally introduce articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. So far, 70 Members of Congress have cosponsored Congresswoman Kelly’s impeachment resolution.

"Proud to join Rep. Kelly in introducing Articles of Impeachment against Kristi Noem — the worst Cabinet Secretary America has ever had," said Congressman Sherman. "She’s abusing power. Ignoring the law. And turning ICE into a domestic terror organization."
