Sherman Joins Relatives of American-Israeli hostages on Capitol Hill, Call for Their Safe Return

March 7, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Ahead of President Joe Biden's State of the Union address, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined a bipartisan congressional group and more than a dozen family members of American-Israeli hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. Together they issued a strong, unified call for the immediate and safe return of all the hostages.

"I joined my colleagues today for a somber yet important message – the hostages MUST come home," said Congressman Sherman. "Hamas must be pressured to stop rejecting ceasefire offers and free the hostages they took when they started this war. I continue to call on leaders in Congress and around the world to say with a unified and clear voice: Bring Them Home!"
