Washington, D.C. -- Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32), senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, urged all parties to adhere to rulings issued by Pakistan's Supreme Court regarding the Punjab election case.
"Just spoke to former Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan," said Congressman Sherman. "He also spoke to my friend, Dr. Asif Mahmood. Spoke about today's Pakistani Supreme Court decision."
Sherman concluded: "For democracies to function, the parties must adhere to the rule of law and rulings of the Supreme Court."
West Hills, Los Angeles -- One person was killed and three others were injured during a shooting in West Hills at a shopping center near Fallbrook Avenue and Vanowen Street. Two firearms were recovered at the scene, according to police. Witnesses recalled hearing sudden gunfire and people screaming, asking for someone to call 911. Some believe it was a drive-by shooting.
