WASHINGTON, D.C. - Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife were sentenced on Wednesday to 14 years in prison for corruption, his lawyer and prison officials said, a day after another special court convicted Khan of leaking state secrets and gave him a 10-year prison sentence. Khan and his wife were accused in the most recent case of retaining and selling state gifts when the former premier was in power.

WASHINGTON, DC -- On January 26th, the U.S. State Department placed a temporary hold on funding for The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) following allegations that 12 UNRWA employees were involved in Hamas's October 7th terrorist attack on Israel.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) released a draft of the No Capital Gains Allowance for American Adversaries Act, legislation that would exclude investments in China, Russia, Belarus, and Iran from eligibility for lower capital gains tax rates. Sherman is currently recruiting cosponsors for the bill.

Washington, D.C. -- On Wednesday, January 17th Senate and House leaders hosted family members of the hostages for a press conference and candlelight vigil following their 100th day in Hamas captivity.

"My colleagues and I mourn 103 days since Hamas' October 7th massacre," said Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) after the conclusion of the vigil. "Over 1,200 innocent Israelis were killed that day, more Jewish deaths than any day since the Holocaust. Since then, too many innocent Israelis and Gazans have been killed due to Hamas' criminal tactics."

Rampage – October 7th. 1,200 Israelis murdered.

Retreat – don't stay and fight in Israel – retreat behind Palestinian human shields.

Regroup – Hamas needs a month or two ceasefire to regroup its military forces and prepare the next attack

Families of Hostages Held in Gaza Join Sherman Conference to Ensure Loved Ones Are Not Forgotten
