The Hamas Ceasefire Plan
Hamas says it wants a ceasefire. Here's their proposal:
Rampage – October 7th. 1,200 Israelis murdered.
Retreat – don't stay and fight in Israel – retreat behind Palestinian human shields.
Regroup – Hamas needs a month or two ceasefire to regroup its military forces and prepare the next attack

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined the nearly 300,000 people who rallied in Washington on Tuesday at the "March for Israel", calling for the release of the hostages held by terrorists in Gaza and invoking the Holocaust while condemning Hamas's October 7 onslaught with a cry of "Never Again."
"I was honored to join today's March For Israel - a powerful display of solidarity where thousands from across the country gathered to reaffirm the United States' unwavering support for Israel and stand united against anti-Semitism," said Congressman Sherman.

The Following Statement Signed by Representatives Brad Sherman, Jared Moskowitz, Seth Magaziner, Greg Landsman, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Dan Goldman, Brad Schneider, Jake Auchincloss, and Josh Gottheimer.
We are utterly sickened and outraged to learn of the death of a 69-year-old Jewish man, Paul Kessler, by an anti-Israel protester in Ventura County. We urge the ongoing investigation to move quickly and thoroughly.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, on the one-month anniversary of Hamas terrorists' deadly attack on Israel, Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA 32nd District) hosted a press conference on Capitol Hill with five families of hostages from the war in Gaza to ensure their loved ones are not forgotten as the crisis in the Middle East continues. Congressman Sherman's Congressional colleagues joined the event, including Congresswoman Kathy Manning (D-NC 6th District) and Congressman Dan Goldman (D-NY 10th District).

Washington, D.C. – The U.S. House of Representatives passed Congressman Brad Sherman's (CA-32) Peace and Tolerance in Palestinian Education Act that would require the U.S. secretary of state to issue an annual public report on teaching materials "in schools in areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority or located in Gaza and controlled by any other entity."
Washington, D.C. -- Today, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined with those honoring victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting, the fifth anniversary of the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the United States.
"Five years ago today, our hearts broke by the tragic events at the Tree of Life Synagogue when 11 Jews were heinously murdered in the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the United States," said Congressman Sherman. "We remember those we lost and stand united against anti-Semitism and hate in all its forms."

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32), senior Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Co-Chair of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus, and the most senior Democrat on the House of Representatives-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group, has been outspoken on the need to support Israel since the start of the horrendous attack by Hamas terrorists on October 7th, 2023.

Co-Chairs of the Israel Allies Caucus, Reps. Brad Sherman (CA-32), Doug Lamborn (CO-05), Brad Schneider (IL-10), and Chris Smith (NJ-10) released the following statement on October 7, 2023:

We do not yet know the full extent of the horrors perpetuated against Israeli civilians by Hamas terrorists, and we will likely learn of further war crimes by Hamas as new information surfaces in the coming hours and days. But what we've already seen are some of the most horrific images imaginable: elderly women slaughtered while waiting at a bus stop; dozens, including children, young women, and the elderly, kidnapped and taken into the Gaza strip; bodies of the dead desecrated and paraded around. The death toll has already reached 200 and is likely to continue to rise.
SHERMAN OAKS, CALIFORNIA -- "Today we pause to honor the memory of Joseph Ileto and the survivors of the North Valley Jewish Community Center shooting. The ugly factors that fueled that fateful day over twenty years ago - senseless gun violence, antisemitism and other forms of hate - are still sadly all too common.
While this tragic anniversary has left an indelible mark on our community, it also serves as a stark reminder on the need to never waver nor wilt in the face of hatred in any of its ugly forms."
